UBS's new TV campaign

As long as we can lie to us?
The Swiss taxpayers had to rescue UBS twice. And the big banks think of anything better than TV commercials on television to turn that compete with empty words and images around the grosspurigen badly battered consumer confidence. At the latest after the fall Kweku Adoboli we know that these spots were pure marketing lie concocted by too bad on paid advertising professionals.

Try it with some honesty
Once again even of UBS now missing two billion, and are thus about 7000 jobs at stake, I feel compelled to make a constructive contribution to make to improve the situation. And this absolutely free. My totally revolutionary idea: try it with some honesty and modesty! This storyboard shows how it could do that UBS, which destroyed at least confidence to begin to repair again.

No "deep, tens of millions"
Shot with a 5D and two FloLights in the premises of UBS UBS employees would cost a subject including post production is hardly more than three thousand francs. Including the transmission costs for SF would be a campaign with - say - twelve subjects hardly more expensive than the last ad-lies of UBS. According to UBS spokeswoman Tatiana Togni, a cost of time "in the low double-digit millions."

So go ahead - the idea is a gift!

    Do you honestly believe those UBS employees who actually are responsible for all this crap in recent years and more opaque business practices would, in fact ((based on your "advertising idea") in this way and seriously meant - sorry Never? . the least. And if so, if it were in some pure hypocrisy.

    I see it exactly as pessimistic as you. Unfortunately it will probably pass on any of the big fish ever a mistake because it would evaporate abruptly his career and maybe even compensation claims could be lurking. Again, here the interest is in their own way. (It would, for example. Gardener or forester also wonderful job alternatives ;-)

    But I am convinced that we could improve the acceptance and trust of customers instantly when someone or better yet, all those responsible would have the courage to take on this responsibility even to its ultimate consequences. So not a golden parachute descend but just represent the Mist built until this issue is overcome, and the gap is reduced the pain.

    Every time I had commercials on TV this outrageous look at the bench, I've wished they would even look like it now as I suggested in my storyboard. Wisely, this will remain a wish ;-)
